Purpose of the role

Help our shops to run smoothly and provide a happy, engaging experience for our customers.

This vital role will enable Enfys to provide a better experience for customers, and ultimately help more people in need.

If you have existing skills, attributes or experience, then we will try and find (or create) an opportunity for you.  If you need training, then as long has you are willing to learn, we can train you.

  • Cleaning the shop
  • Serving customers
  • Taking payment

When and where

We have opportunities in all of our shops: Neath, Barry and Briton Ferry.

Support offered

Enfys will provide you with an induction and cover approved expenses. We will also provide some basic training.

What you could get out of it

Enfys Reuse & Restore exists to provide furniture for people in need, and in doing so we also protect the environment by diverting hundreds of tonnes from potentially going to waste.

What you get out of it is the same as us – the sheer joy of being able to show human kindness to people who are in a tough place in their lives. We are utterly determined that their interaction with Enfys is a happy one underpinned by providing a dignified experience.

There is no application form.  Please call (01639 641631) or fill out our Contact form, and we will arrange to meet up for an informal chat and show you the shop.  We interview volunteers to ensure that Enfys is a good fit for them, and it gives Enfys & the volunteer an opportunity to discuss the role in more detail, as well as explain our vision and values.
