Purpose of the role
Help Enfys acquire good quality furniture using Social Media, primarily Facebook.
This vital role will enable Enfys to handle higher volumes and ultimately help more people.
What you will be doing
You will help the administrator, but have a fair degree of autonomy.
- Answer queries on social media
Proactively source stock on social media
Listing items for sale online
Clean & prep furniture, and take photos
Skills, experience and qualities needed
- Good communication skills
Good written skills
Previous experience of online market places (e.g. Facebook, eBay, etc)
When and where
The role is based at our Swansea showroom:
Swansea Enterprise Park
We are open Monday to Friday and would prefer volunteers who can commit to whole days if possible, but we are open to other options.
Enfys will provide you with an induction and cover approved expenses. We may be able to provide some basic training.

Enfys Reuse & Restore exists to provide furniture for people in need, and in doing so we also protect the environment by diverting hundreds of tonnes from potentially going to waste.
What you get out of it is the same as us – the sheer joy of being able to show human kindness to people who are in a tough place in their lives. We are utterly determined that their interaction with Enfys is a happy one underpinned by providing a dignified experience.
Other relevant information
All staff and volunteers are subject to having a basic DBS check. There is no cost to the volunteer.
We interview volunteers to ensure that Enfys is a good fit for them, and it gives Enfys & the volunteer an opportunity to discuss the role in more detail, as well as explain our vision and values.
