Purpose of the role
Help move furniture around the warehouse and shops, assist on the van with collections and deliveries.
This vital role will enable Enfys to help more people.
What you will be doing
You will help the administrator and van drivers, but have a fair degree of autonomy.
- Assemble & clean furniture
- Rotate stock between the stock room & showroom
- Load and unload the van
- Collecting & delivering furniture from peoples homes
- Assess furniture for suitability (training will be given)
- Update paperwork
- Contact customers on route
- Navigating for the driver
Skills, experience and qualities needed
Essential
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Decent level of fitness (heavy lifting)
- Professional & friendly approach to customers
Desirable
- Warehouse experience

The role is based at our Neath shop:

Neath SA11 1DL
Support offered: Enfys will provide you with an induction and cover approved expenses. We will provide some training, such as manual handling.

Enfys Reuse & Restore exists to provide furniture for people in need, and in doing so we also protect the environment by diverting hundreds of tonnes from potentially going to waste.

We interview volunteers to ensure that Enfys is a good fit for them, and it gives Enfys & the volunteer an opportunity to discuss the role in more detail, as well as explain our vision and values.
