Chemistry is a natural science which scrutinizes substance. The springs of modern chemistry have come from the old times. It used to be named alchemy - there were the efforts to transform iron into gold. Today chemistry simply studies the ingredients of different matters, their molecular structure and the processes that occur while different matters are being mixed. It is also quite necessary to determine the laws to have the chance to generate the needed matters from other ones. Chemistry, biology and physics are the sciences which have a lot of joint objectives.
This science is subdivided into inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, physical chemistry and lots of other more specific spheres.
Organic chemistry is called organic because it was believed that organic combinations had something to do with life. But modern science has proved that not all the elements of organic chemistry are related to the life and living organisms. Some inorganic components as cooper or iron, for example, play the main role in the in the processes of living organisms.
Organic chemistry performs the analysis of matters that are made of carbon and hydrogen. That science studies their construction, properties, composition and processes. Organic compounds are commonly used in a variety of goods, including plastics, foods, drugs, etc.
Analytical chemistry studies combinations of organic and inorganic substances. The molecules and atoms of the matter are studied in details by that science. It also executes the researches to define the combination and features of given components. Analytical and physical chemistry are quite similar, due to they study the similar reactions but take some different information from them. It is based on the researches and the results are quite useful for providing the safety of the environmental and saving some natural resources.
